Project Manager - Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner

The Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (OPFCC) have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. The role will be based in North Yorkshire’s beautiful spa town, Harrogate, and carries a competitive salary of £41,718 - £44,928 per annum.

The Projects Manager will work closely with the Commissioner and the OPFCC Executive Management team to develop and deliver innovative, community-focused projects as part of the Office’s delivery programme against the Commissioner’s new strategic Plans for 2022-25. You will ensure projects contribute directly to making a real difference for the people of North Yorkshire and York. You will help to develop the OPFCC as an organisation to maximise our ability to deliver effectively and efficiently.

As a successful candidate you will have experience of Project Managing large scale, multiple and complex projects (up to £1m). You will be confident at developing and managing relationships with both internal and external customers. To aid implementations, you will excel in leadership, coaching and staff development to maximise potential. You will ideally be qualified in Project Management methodology or be working towards it.

The OPFCC is a public sector organisation, but we welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds and experience in the public, private or third sector. We are seeking a candidate who will bring energy, initiative and a variety of experiences and strengths to the team. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract.
